Say Goodbye to Inflammatory Seed Oils and Hello to Healthy Cooking

The two things all of our customers have in common (myself included) is:

1) We all grew up on the Standard American Diet.

-and-

2) We're all trying to figure out how to get back to eating real, nourishing food - the way God intended.

Some of it comes easy, but some of it takes effort to learn how to do new things - like getting rid of seed oils and cooking with traditional fats such as beef tallow instead.

I grew up believing highly processed foods such as vegetable oil, Crisco, (I can still picture the blue tub in my mom's pantry!)  canola oil, and other oils were healthy.

🤮

Now I know that couldn't be farther from the truth and I want to spread the word to others.
My goal is to help more people to ditch toxic, inflammatory “vegetable” oils and embrace traditional animal fats again because they're vital for our health.

Healthy animal fats, such as beef tallow, are important for brain, skin, gut, and hormone health and are:

  • abundant in conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which has powerful anti-inflammatory properties
  • rich in minerals
  • full of fall soluble vitamins A, D, E, K, and B12

Exactly the kind of food we should be eating to support our health!

If you're ready to make changes and start eating in a more traditional way but don't know where to start, I've got you covered.

I also included the other fats that I believe are healthy for eating + our favorite way to make homemade french fries using tallow.

Trust me - you're gonna want that recipe for burger season coming up!

Making the transition to real food does not have to be stressful.

I hope this information helps show you just how easy it can actually be.

Sarah

How To Make Real Food Work On Busy Days

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about the new food guidelines. Whole foods. Less ultra-processed food. More intention around what we’re feeding our kids. For many parents, this didn’t feel surprising — it felt like confirmation. But after all that conversation, I kept hearing the same thing from moms: “Okay… but how do we actually do this?”

Where to Begin: A Real-Food Reset for Busy Families

As we step into a new year, it’s impossible to ignore what’s happening around us. Kids are getting sick more often. Chronic illness is becoming normal. Cancer, autoimmune disease, digestive issues, anxiety, ADHD — it feels like nearly every family is dealing with something. For many parents, that realization is unsettling. And it leads to a hard but important question: Is the way we’re eating part of the problem?
