Don't you love it when you get home from vacation and there's nothing to eat?

That was us yesterday...

We just got back from the lake and I didn't know what to make for supper.

The fridge was empty and all the meat was frozen.

And of course everyone was "starving".

I went to the garden to see if there was anything to eat and found some cabbage!

So I grabbed one and started looking for recipes to make.

Tom found a very simple recipe using ground beef, cabbage, and spices.

I was skeptical because it seemed way too easy....

Turns out I was wrong!

It was so good the kids even had seconds.

I'm definitely adding this to the list for quick, weeknight meals.

If you're in a pinch after getting home from vacation and have nothing to eat, definitely give this recipe a try!

Cancer, autoimmune disease, digestive issues, anxiety, ADHD — it feels like nearly every family is dealing with something. For many parents, that realization is unsettling. And it leads to a hard but important question: Is the way we’re eating part of the problem?
